PYLEWELL PARK

The House

Located on a beautiful private estate in Hampshire, England, Pylewell is where art instructor William grew up and drew his early creative inspiration. The house is unusual in standing directly overlooking the sea, with dreamy views towards the Solent and the Isle of Wight and is set amid acres of lush formal and informal gardens, with a lake, walled garden and mill. As such, it is the ideal setting for the adventurous outdoor painter. Guests can expect the relaxed atmosphere of a country house weekend, where painting and drawing are equal to feasting and good company.

The Bedrooms

All 10 bedrooms are newly refurbished, so guests can look forward to the highest levels of comfort. Each bedroom is named after Lord Teynham's ten children many of whom still live on the estate today. Guests can expect the relaxed atmosphere of a country house weekend, where painting and drawing are equal to feasting and good company.

We have a wide variety of rooms available at Pylewell from splendid grandeur to cosy and informal. Six of the rooms, the Hermione, David, Emma, William, Lucy and Jonny are all en-suite with sea views. The Sophie has a garden view with large four poster bed and en suite bathroom. The Peter, Ben and Alice rooms are our entry level rooms and are a little more ecclectic and share bathrooms. The Alice can be made up into a twin room.
